Sen. is a post-operative care solution designed to support patients with Parkinson’s disease who have undergone Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy. Sen, was a project which I worked on during my time in Cambridge Consultants (and which won a Red Dot Award). While the broader project focused on the physical implant and wearable components, my individual contribution centered on creating the storyboard and illustrating the user experience—specifically the user journey for the companion app and system interactions.
Sen. combines wearable sensing, discreet charging, and a patient-facing app to empower users with real-time insights into their treatment and condition. It addresses key challenges in DBS aftercare, including symptom tracking, implant monitoring, and patient-clinician communication.
